Continue reading »]]> Imagine a future where floodwaters and river sedimentation are purposely diverted to be used to rebuild destroyed coastal wetland areas. This future is not so far off, and studies are currently underway in a 24 x 48 foot storage facility under the direction of Louisana State University Associate Professor Clint Wilson. Professor Wilson is the Director of the Vincent A. Forte River and Coastal Hydraulics Lab. The purpose of the project is to study the way in which river sedimentation and waters flow, and how that flow may be redirected to promote the most beneficial use. It is Professor Wilson’s belief that the silt, sedimentation, and water from the Mississippi River can be forced to flow in a certain direction that would reduce flooding while at the same time providing a rebuilding of lost coastal wetlands. Professor Wilson’s team hopes to move to a larger lab in the near future where he can study more life on the river.

Life is made more simple since people no longer have to carry around several electronic gadgets just to do every day tasks. Cell phones can now be used as clocks, gaming devices, modems, televisions, music players, FM radios, cameras, video recorders, computers, voice recorders, driving assistants, phone books, business managers, and so much more. The newer cell phones even take orders from their owners. The technology has evolved so much that it will not be long before cell phones will be able to make breakfast.

It’s not clingy, usually much lighter fabric, and looks great with flip flops or dressed up with a pair of heels.

This is the ultimate summer staple. You can go bright with summers hot new colors, try something feminine and floral, or go with the latest color blocking. During an era of abstract painters, Bacon steadfastly held to his unique representational portraits of the human condition in an existential, sometimes grotesque fashion. Although UK prime minister once referred to him as “that man who paints those dreadful pictures,” his work can be found in the major museums of London, New York and Paris as he is one of the worlds most famous artists.

During his lifetime, he was called “surely the greatest living painter by the director of the preeminent Tate Museum, Alan Bowness. In 2008, Bacon’s “Triptych, 1976″ sold for 86.2 million at a Sotheby’s auction, which placed him in league with Van Gogh, Picasso and Jackson Pollock for the highest prices paid for a single painting. Born to wealthy parents in Ireland, Bacon lived in Berlin and Paris, before settling into the South Kensington neighborhood of London where he kept a famously tiny (258 square feet), unkempt studio. His disturbing, violent imagery captured both the vulnerability and decadence of the post-war world.

Martial arts were meant to teach masses of people to fight for the purpose of raising and training armies. A kung fu school’s primary purpose is to train people of good character to balance the power within communities. Balancing the power of men of peace, with that of men driven by greed, war and power is its focus and hand skills.

Kung fu differentiates itself from other forms of martial arts, many shifus would spread their spiritual understandings of the universe with the communities that they visited and taught. A kung fu school is like a family not an enterprise. A kung fu or martial art school should not be evaluated on the basis of membership numbers or the income it generates, but on the effect it has on the individual and the community it serves.

She is classy, beautiful, smart and has a wonderful personality. She proves that you do not have to walk around naked to get attention. Tyra Banks is another wonderful role model for young women. She is a former model, but strives to teach and promote self esteem to young girls. She has also done a-lot to help those who are less fortunate.

The statue was given to the United States by France as a symbol of friendship, freedom, and democracy. It was given to the U.S by the French on October 28, 1886 and appointed as a national monument in 1924.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is a famous bell tower located in the Italian city of Pisa. It is famous as a world landmark because the way it was structured makes it lean to the right. The tower is 184 feet high on the lower side and 187 feet high on the higher side. Over one million people from all over the world visit the tower each year. Tourists enjoy stopping and taking pictures of themselves pretending to hold up the tower.

The best way to find your own happiness is to find peace within yourself. Learn about who you are and what happiness means to you. Once you find your personal answers to these questions you won’t have to go out searching for happiness but happiness will find you. Everyone finds happiness in many different ways. What makes one person happy may not make another person happy.

When you know who you and find your inner peace everything else will fall into place. Some unhappy times may still come around but with your special inner happiness you are stronger. Happiness is ours and all we need to do is reach out and take it.
